Get Behind The Badge
Tribute to Whitehall Police Officer Terry McDowell, who was killed in the line of duty on August 24, 2001. Get Behind the Badge was started in his memory.
Since establishment in 2001 Get Behind The Badge has provided emotional and financial assistance to the families of first responders, both law enforcement and fire, killed in the line of duty. Our Charter also allowed us to provide financial assistance for those first responder families who have suffered financial hardship due to death, injury or illness.
